Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Council of the  
Town of Fort Qu'Appelle held on Thursday March 25, 2010

Councillors Jeannette Spanier, Jenny Melanson, John Okolita, Doug Harvey and Dave Yee
Administrator Ed Sigmeth
Absent:Councillor Jeff Brown
Called to order 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Osika
Andrew Hanson & Mark Hanson observed from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
45/10    AGENDAOkolita/Yee:
THAT the agenda be adopted as presented.    CARRIED.
46/10    MINUTESMelanson/Spanier:
THAT the minutes of the March 11, 2010 regular meeting be approved as presented.    CARRIED.
 Councillor Yee declared a conflict of interest and left at 7:14 pm.
47/10    HANSON HOME HARDWAREMelanson/Okolita:
THAT we accept the revised agreement with Hanson Home Hardware, as finalized, by the Town Solicitor.    CARRIED.
 Councillor Yee returned at 7:22 pm.
41/10    OFFER TO PURCHASEYee/Harvey:
THAT we counter offer $14,000.00 + GST for 602 Segwun Ave S (Lot 20 Block 20 Plan A02561) to Robert & Georgette Mondor.    CARRIED.
49/10    CORRESPONDENCEMelanson/Spanier:
THAT the March 25, 2010 correspondence be accepted as filed.    CARRIED.
50/10    ACCOUNTS PAYABLEYee/Harvey:
THAT the March 25, 2010 accounts payable numbering 16176 to 16202 inclusive, in the amount of $28,898.38, be approved for payment as presented.    CARRIED.
51/10    FIREWORKS DONATIONOkolita/Melanson:
THAT a $1,500.00 donation be approved to the Fort Qu'Appelle Recreation & Parks Commission for the July 1, 2010 Canada Day fireworks, as requested.    CARRIED.
52/10    ADJOURNOkolita/Spanier:
THAT the meeting be adjourned.    CARRIED.
The meeting adjourned at 9:50 pm.
